Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor travel many cities of India to promote their upcoming movie Rajneeti by Prakash Jha.
Since the movie is a political thriller, Ranbir and Katrina will visit college campuses in different Indian cities and debate with students over political issues. The question, however, is – are the two well-versed in the politics of the land to engage in a meaningful debate and discussion about the subject.
We hear that Katrina has already started brushing up her knowledge of current affairs and politics. Ranbir, on the other hand, feels confident enough to be able to speak extempore.
Moreover, Jha, who is well-informed about politics, is going to guide the young duo.
During their visit to Delhi, the film’s promotional team will be joined by Rahul Gandhi, who’ll speak about various subjects related to politics, including the role youth can play.
Ranbir and Katrina will be spending a lot of time together promoting Raajneeti in the coming months. The whole of April will be spent doing the campus interactions. From May 30th to June 6thPrakash Jha has planned premieres of Raajneeti all over the world including New York to London, Muscat, Bahrain, Delhi and Mumbai. When a friend pointed out to Katrina that the proximity to Ranbir for their film’s marketing would only lead to further speculation she shrugged and said, “He is a friend. And I won’t stop being friendly with or refuse to promote my film just because tongues are wagging.”
